This week I read that Novak Djokovic has joined General Atlantic as a global strategic adviser. The explanation wasn’t that he had quietly spent the last two decades getting an MBA in between matches, waiting for the rain to stop. I am pretty sure mastering private equity or learning how to evaluate companies, was not on his bingo card these last years.
