Pivot Papers are our way of exploring a world that is changing fast. Some are short reads focused on a single idea. Others are fuller guides, like our thirty-page look at job hunting in this complex market. Each paper brings together what we have learned and what we are noticing, offered in a way that supports your own thinking and your own approach.
We have collaborated with other thinkers to gather content that will include things you have possibly overlooked or not considered. Each paper is a comprehensive collection of everything from data to theory, created to offer context as you navigate the opportunities ahead.
Some Pivot Papers are free. Others are twenty-five dollars. Once you purchase a paper, you are welcome to join our Open Spark Zooms. They happen three times a week. We start with a five-minute introduction to something timely and then spend the next twenty-five minutes in conversation about the papers and whatever you are working through in your own planning.
We spend real time and resources creating these papers. We ask that you not forward the PDF to others. We are grateful when you encourage people to purchase their own copies. If you know someone who needs the information and cannot afford it, let us know with their permission. We will gladly send them the paper, invite them to the Zoom sessions, and add them to our mailing list.

WOMEN'S INSTITUTIONAL ORGANIZATIONS
Coming Spring 2026
Our spring Think Tank will focus on three of the most influential women’s institutions in American life. Girl Scouts, women’s sororities, and Junior Leagues. The premise is simple. These organizations hold extraordinary collective strength through the sheer number of women under their umbrellas and the long history of what they have already built. The question we are asking is this. Are we making the most of that strength in a moment when the issues at the center of their missions need more support than ever? The number of women connected to these institutions could move mountains if their attention and energy were gathered around the challenges that sit inside their stated purpose. The conversation will begin months before we gather. A cohort of women with deep experience in these institutions will meet to shape the program, frame the questions, and outline the outcomes we hope to surface. The in person session will bring together participants who are active in or passionate about this work, creating a collaborative space to examine history, current realities, and new possibilities. The results will be our first Think Tank Pivot Paper.
