I believe every person is here for a reason. The greatest privilege of my work has been helping people discover what that reason may be. My hope is that, by the time you finish this questionnaire, you'll see yourself more clearly than ever before. I've had the privilege of helping thousands of people, from college students beginning their journeys to accomplished leaders looking toward their next chapter, discover and articulate their life purpose. I know taking the time to do this work will make a difference

in your future.

I've also learned that purpose isn't something we invent. More often, it's something we uncover. The clues are already there, woven throughout our experiences, our values, our strengths, the people we're naturally drawn to help, and the moments when we feel most fully alive. 

 

This questionnaire is designed to help reveal those patterns.

There are no right or wrong answers. Please don't worry about being eloquent or trying to write what you think I want to hear. Simply answer each question honestly and as fully as you can. The more context and examples you provide, the more accurate, meaningful, and personalized your life purpose statement can be.

My goal is not simply to help you identify what you want to accomplish. It is to help you discover how your unique talents, passions, values, and lived experiences can come together in service of something larger than yourself.​​

I believe that having clarity about your purpose is one of life's greatest strategic advantages. It provides direction during uncertain times, confidence when making important decisions, and a deeper sense of fulfillment as you actively live your purpose every day.

My own purpose is simple.

To choose joy, be mindful of joy, and share joy with others.

​

It has guided my decisions for more than two decades and, by actively living this purpose, I have created tremendous joy for myself and others … even during the most challenging times. I hope this process helps you discover a purpose that will guide your decisions and unleash greater success, fulfillment, and joy for you, too.
